Rajiv Gandhi assassination case: Centre rejects Tamil Nadu government proposal to set free 7 convicts

The Centre today rejected the Tamil Nadu government's proposal to release seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assasination case and informed the Supreme Court (SC) about its decision. "The releasing of killers of former PM Rajiv Gandhi will set a very dangerous precedent," said the Centre to the top court.
