Arms-looter Musa group was looted by Hizbul Mujahideen men

Hizbul Mujahideen, as well as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, have been opposing Musa's attempts to gain relevance in Kashmir. "While there is potential for Musa's outfit to grow in popularity, lack of funding and source of weapons has prevented it from growing into a major threat," said an officer of the central security establishment.
