The long-delayed portfolios in the three-party Maharashtra government were finalised on Saturday evening with NCP succeeding in securing the home department from Shiv Sena, to whom it had been allocated earlier. CM Uddhav Thackeray submitted the list of portfolios to governor B S Koshyari for approval in the evening.
